It'll never be like a D&D session, but hot damn does it come close. I cannot describe how wild Baldur's Gate 3 is when it comes to player agency. I did complain about Baldur's Gate 3 quite a bit in my opinion piece about it, but that was purely out of love. Baldur's Gate 3 is the perfect combination of roleplay and intense turn-based tactical play.
